I mean, obviously Iongi is better than any of the Eels players. He has been part of the best system and development in the competition. He's our third best fullback which is a pretty decent honor.

But every season he spends at the Eels he will slowly regress to be an Eels quality player and his career will have peaked in his first two seasons unless he goes to a club like Roosters, Storm or returns to Panthers. Which I don't know if we would fit him because we will have about 3 or 4 guys fighting for the #1 jersey by the time Edwards lets it go.

To be fair plenty on here got it wrong too.

Also Alamoti is routinely spelled “Alamonti” to this day by our brains trust so I’m not going to be too critical.
