He did his time, served his suspension and as everyone is entitled, was given a second chance, a chance at redemption. I don’t see anything wrong with that.

There wasn't even a crime committed. More a moral issue. No way on earth can he stay at the Roosters though.

You have on many more than one occasion suggested Tyrone May was responsible for violence against a female. The offences he was involved in did not involve personal violence however distasteful his offences may have been.

Yes it was wrong, I have never suggested otherwise but it wasn’t an act of violence against a female. It was an offence against a female, no question, but there was no violence involved and you shouldn’t suggest otherwise. As I have suggested on more than one occasion, the question that remains is who posted the video or videos in the public domain. That question has never fully been resolved, it wasn’t CHN, so given the rumours around whom it was it remains the big unknown? It is a shame that question has never been resolved, if it was you may not have liked the answer.

His morals aren’t the issue, you avoid the obvious, his offences of which he was convicted did not involve violence. So perhaps you should acknowledge that fact given your many posts about stating the truth?

The thing with this situation is we have no idea what has happened, not our business. We don't know if Watson is husband of the year, or a complete and utter bastard. May could be comforting a desperately unhappy woman. Or maybe it was a drunken one night stand. Who knows and who is in a position to judge? Who is right and who is wrong is never easy and often many shades of grey.

To be fair to the Roosters, if the allegation is true, they had no choice but to get rid of of one of them. It's untenable.

Since Watson is the person in the relationship it makes sense they release May. That said, maybe they thought they can replace May easier than Watson, who knows? It's a mess, but let's not rush in labelling May a villain, when we are not privy to the facts.

Aside from any morality issues, rumours or biases, the guy is being punted by the Roosters of all clubs. They are desperately short on first grade middles and don’t mind a morally corrupt team member. We on the other hand are four time premiers with two NZ props, a kangaroos squad member and Liam Henry as our first choice props. Not to mention two international edge forwards who would be international middles if it suited.

The risk of destabilising what we have is just nowhere near worth it.
