Agree on the principle, but not sure it’s a race thing, more just a sign of the times thing - unfortunately, in todays world, going on the rampage as Lodge did will hit the headlines for a day or 2, having a view that in anyway can be seen as ‘discriminatory’ against sexuality/gender warriors etc gains for more column inches and for much longer. Big corporations believe thst the vocal minority associated with those groups are far more damaging publically - even though in reality, the vast majority of people couldn’t give a rats about someone’s sexuality, and believe there are only 2 genders (3 maximum if you include what is essentially a deformity).
