Ikuvalu did a job for the Roosters this year when their depth were tested.. thought he was shit half the season but when my anto-Roosters goggles came off, realised he was doing great as probably the 4th/5th winger in line. I'm much happier knowing that if Ronnie to Katoa go down we can call Ikuvalu up instead of shifting Tracey.. also means Hiroti isn't thrown in the deep end again and Nene isn't a chance. Should be good for the Jets!

Yeah I don’t mind this signing, though suspect he’ll be on half decent money as would get a game at most clubs, but don’t see him getting in over our 2 current wingers, which could be wasteful spending - unless Ronnie is moving in a position maybe?

I thought that idea was thrown out with the trash... 🤣

Nene has left the club. Won’t ever be seen in first grade again I suspect.

its a no brainer he struggles to defend on the wing why would you move him to centre? his kick returns, finishing and aerial skills work on the wing and he's killing it there, why would you even gamble with it? we already have a centre who doesnt know how to pass to his winger. you risk him losing confidence and results and a wasted year. when its not broken why fix it?

Millers the link man who should be crafted for that spot

Wasn't expecting November 1 to bring us a winger.
Maybe l set my expectations too high or lve been accustomed to names like finucane and hynes.

Now that Peter O Sullivan has joined the Dolphins as recruitment manager, I wonder if the Warriors interest for Metcalfe was from him, and if he will try and entice Luke up north instead of over the ditch.
Just a random thought here, not a rumour.

Was thinking the same but feel the Dolphins will try to aim high for their starting halves. Still think Metcalf is crazy to want to go there.

Ikuvalu is a great pick up. He has been the third choice winger at a top club for years and joins us as a third string winger.

If Ronnie can make a fist of centre then we have more options as a team as I do not think Tracey should be in the centres or wing.

Doesn't break the bank. Has experience. Hard worker. Good finisher. Mates with Nicho from the central coast. Doesn't walk into a spot. I reckon it is a tremendous pick up and gives us a ton of flexibility. Also I heard Zac Cini is one of the train and trials but not sure if that is true.
