. Douehi goes to lock or FB. Hynes at fb would be a disaster under the high ball. Kennedy is near as you can get to perfect. Even Dylan Edward’s can spill a few. Kennedy dose not have the body to stop a breakthrough runner. We need a heavy hitter at fb.
Pappy is a smaller body than Kennedy, but he seems to go alright.

Kennedy isn’t our problem, infact, when the team is playing well, he can look elite. Kennedy is a great value fullback if and when our pack/spine bother turning up.

Brayley.

Never injured.
Tough as teak.
Tackles his ring out.
Good looking rooster.
Local junior.
Come through the grades.
POTY last 2 seasons.

Manager looks over and sees some long-haired soft-hearted glamour boy on a cool mill a year who has jumped everyone to become the face of the club.

f**k yeah - I'd be saying to the club go back -and don't come back - unless you have an 8 in front of it, and almost a 9.

Brayley is on the kangaroo tour behind Harry in 3 months. 100%
No other Shark would get a job carrying the passports.

Sharks think this would have been a shooting fish in a barrel deal.
Good on BB. Our roster needs to be shown up for what is. Hope he pushes the club to the brink and shows what a shitshow Fitz has collated here. Too many eggs in the Kayo man's basket, the Million dollar baby - plus the refusal to inject or buy youth.

Is he stays we'll have virtually 3 million dollar players and we are NOT a top 4 team.

Maybe we let him go. And fashion Trindall into 9 and spend the money on Ilias or Metcalf or a genuine 7. And we get young Healey back.
And Bula.
Looks better already.

Or if BB wants halfback money play him at 7.
He has the game.
We brought Preston off the wing and made him 7. Why not this bloke.

Roosters, broncs, cows and storm are out of the equation to chase him but every other side will be ringing riolo.
BB has all the trademarks of a Doggie.
Watch Gus start talking him up on TV.
That's how it begins.

Everybody thinks its a negative if we lose this bloke but raiders, wahs, penrith and broncs are showing you dont need a star hooker - just a capable one.
Did somebody say Tricky.
Oh I did.

Would BB money be better utilised with Bula and Douhii? Freshen the place up.
Because one things for certain we are an aging roster on the slide and we need freshening up.
Parra.
Souths.
Wer'e next.
Keep doing the same thing with the same people and you'll get....

We need to get PNG or Perth interested in Hynes. We need to measure up Captain McPlod for a Jets jumper.
We need to stop thinking like cronulla - the nicest guys who aren't afraid to finish last and start to understand the mentality of teams at the top who understand the mentality that letting guys go isn't always the worst thing for a roster.

Just call me 'Fox Removed'...

LOL
imo fullback is now a young mans game.

The bouncy, pinball with speed and ball playing. I think it is the Weeks, Faalogo types that will take over from the speedy Paps, Teddy etc. Nicho will be 30 next year. Way too old and slow. Ison was signed before WK this year for a reason. If you could get Stewart back you would have the best two 21 year olds at fullback battling it out. It would take some patience but I think it is part of the shift we need away from our current squad. Another three years of the same spine does nothing for me.

Even with WK offered a 1 year deal I want to see what Ison can do. WK has been a solid player for us no doubt but we need a spark and change in our attack imo. Trindall, Nicho and hopefully Brailey are all locked in. Sorry Will.

Doueihi is solid but there is a reason he has had no offers and had to take a pay cut this year to stay at the Tigers. He is a footy player who you can throw in the deep end and make it work but isn't the guy. Again Bula has a contract for 900k in 2027 with his option. f**k THAT. I'd rather roll the dice with Ison/WK or Chevy at a combined probably 500-600k.

The only way we can go onto the market is to offload players and that will be far easier in ‘27. B2 is contracted for ‘26 and while he deserves an upgrade for next year he’ll have to wait till 27 to get his pay rise. We’re flat out making a non-offensive offer to WK for 26. Unfortunately our two back-up fullback options were busted for the year and Dykes has now moved on. Where we’re top heavy (other than Nico) is the guys like BHU….Toby and Tom on 500k. Love what both Toby and Tom bring to the table but 500k is pretty good coin and probably overs for benches. BHU? ….Well minimum wage would almost be overs. Also need to find a way to keep Billy Burns imo. I can see there being a bit of a Sharks flavour to the Bears but that’s still 18 months away.

The B2 Machine was back in action yesterday, with Riccio claiming if Kevvie doesn't pick him for The Ashes tour he may jump ship as he is eligible to play for England through his mum being a born'n'bred Liverpudlian, and thus not being able to play for NSW.

Can a player gets a favoured nation clause in contract.
It was done back in old days of WCW wrestling.
So basically you are highest paid player lets say million.
The club goes and add another player for 1.1m
The favoured nation clause kicks in your contract is now 1.1m plus 1c.
Always have to be highest paid player at club

He'll be our only representative on the kangaroo tour.
Might be in the SOO next year.
All these clauses/bonuses will be in there.
We have a bloke on a mill who will never play rep footy again, so will BB be the new face of the club.
A good manager will explore that as well.
