Wasted signing, he won't improve during the offseason.
He won't work on his defence, probably be slower then he was this year.
No kicking game will he add.
Won't improve his speed, nor will he bother to back up in attack.
Hiroti has played fullback for Jets he would be a better option.
Raiders have taken a risk he looks ok, Broncs have taken a punt on fullback younger then ours he looks better then ours.
We sit on our hands.
The 1-7 who failed in finals is looking like Fitz believes they are good enough to win the comp next year.

It is a sensible singing and very much the Sharks continuity strategy. The Sharks aren't going to make radical changes and so will hope for incremental improvement.

Haven't seen enough in Ison yet to know if he is a difference maker at NRL level. This gives the club a season to see if he can make it. They really need a couple of players to take big leaps forward to improve the whole unit. Brailey took a big step this year. Others need to do the same if there is no talent coming from outside.

We basically get WK to do the same job but for less.
So we're probably the winners and hes the loser.

Will we win it next year. No we wont so preliminary final weekend is highly acceptable. Theres 13 other teams who would have taken it.

So we will head into next year with yhe same squad that got there this year and who knows.

The broncs have no up. Without Walsh we beat them and he cant get any better and he might never reproduce that month.

Melbourne...I think they're big 4 are getting smaller and that brings them way back to the field.

If the two GF teams cant reproduce..that means the next 2 just have to find a it extra.

Those 2 points then are directly the reason why Will is our only option - nobody else better is available, and even if they were, we can’t afford them. Riccio said before Will is signing for around $350k - that’s a ridiculously low price, we wouldn’t even get a junior with potential for that price.

I also go back to the point, Will isn’t our main spine issue - he’s actually our most threatening attacking player. If we had a world class 6 or 7, we’d be fine with Will.

Swapping out Nicho or Tricky for an upgrade would make a much bigger difference to our chances.

But also, we’re not a million miles away.

Yeah this 100%….Will was our best player for the first half of the season at least. Tricky other than 3 or 4 games was f**king ordinary. If I was to rate our spine over the season I’d give Tricky a 5…Nicho a 6…. Will a 8 and Brails a 9.
On the upside for the season just gone… Brails was a massive improvement when he started running… Jesse C and Billy Burns both looked like genuine first graders and will only improve next year with more games under their belt. The two biggest disappointments for me were Noodles and to a lesser extent Britt. Both need more consistency next year.

List all the A grade spine players in the comp.

Add their value to get across to the sharks. Not what they are being paid currently

Maybe also put when they are off contract and available.

Actually Fitz should have signed Reece Walsh and Mitch Moses. Maybe Katoa from the dolphins. Can’t be getting all the A grade spine players from the same club.
