I think that was a gee up to Parra fans on the news of Hayne leaving. Doubt we'd be that lucky.

I agree we do need some quality second rowers....I was more saying if they are going to purchase a back, after letting some good backs go, I think they need to be centres but sure I get your point, we really do need one or preferably two top flight second rowers.

I'd be happy with that. It's not very often a current rep player is available this time of year. He may not be the player he was a year or so ago but he is far from washed up.

Mate Merrin is in the prime of his career. He was carrying an injury in the back end of the year from the Origin series but was destroying teams before that.

He would be the best signing in the JV's history IMO.
