Branighan is still in France playing for Toulouse in the Elite1 comp. So if he has signed, he won't be at the Roosters until the French comp finishes which coincides with the start of the NRL comp.

Can anyone tell me how old he is?

I read up that he had some talent, but a major ego problem, was a reserve grade drifter. Can't believe our 2007 Newtown halves were Soward & Lewis, but by 2008 they will be Branighan & Ayoub. Serious downgrade.

you'll probably find that most Ausies playing in that comp have automatic get out clauses based on securing an NRL contract..
