I once went to school with someone who bet his left nut and lost. The poor bastard went double or nothing and lost that as well.

Well Kearney stuck with Keating as his first choice dummy half, and he's a good judge. So I'm expecting Sticky to do the same.

Kasiano and J.Graham could also be described as middle halves as they do the same thing when the dogs are attacking. I'd probably still call them props though

I'd call them props too, since their main job is to make ground up the middle.

Or should Joseph Paulo be called a prop too?

Going back a few years at a high school rugby union tournament a schoolmate of mine got one of his testicles lodged somewhere above his scrotum after he copped a very nasty, very low swinging arm. I helped carry him to the mini-bus and then rode shotgun when we took him to the hospital...the poor bastard was in agony the entire way and any bump on the road caused him even more pain.

I've seen first hand most of the worst injuries footy can throw at you like torn ligaments, open fractures (including one horrific leg fracture) and neck/back injuries but that one particular injury stuck with me.

Fortunately he made a full recovery, which was just as well seeing as he was a prolific ladies man

Sticky is doing the same, as did Michael Hagan (both premiership winners). So did Daniel Anderson who lost a couple of grand finals.

Why would Kearney not take the advice of these luminaries?
