The only players 'definitely' going are those off contract. The blokes with a contract for 2014 have every right to expect that to be honoured. We may not necessarily find another club to take them, and if we cut them their salary is still assessed under our cap.

The players named in the SMH are: Maitua, Matt Keating, Ben Smith, Willie Tonga, Ben Roberts, Cheyse Blair, Daniel Harrison, Nathan Smith, Pat O’Hanlon and Matthew Eisenhuth.

Off those players, all but Maitua, Ben Smith and Harrison are off contract at the end of the year. I think Lasalo can safely be considered in the 12 and he's off contract as well. Luke Kelly might be the 12th and he's contracted for next year.

So its just four players whose contracts might need to be partly or fully paid out. All up thats not too bad.

I think it has been mentioned he was playing hooker in sg ball and going pretty good (scoring a few tries) I think also it was mentioned there could be a slight chance of a u20 call up.

Also think he was going to a school where he had to play union for the rest of the year .

Why we re-signed Keating was beyond me..........finally the culture might be changing.

I think Sandow is very lucky - but could easily get the cut if he doesn't do anything for the rest of the year

They'd need to find someone willing to pay at least close to what he's on to be able to cut him.

You could be right for Lasalo & Kelly being 11 & 12. I never want to put someone in the situation, but perhaps it should be suggested to Maitua & Smith that retirement may be a good option
