The only question is if your tears will be of joy or the usual brought on by depression, having to watch the Knights every week.

No tears. He was terrible today and his head is clearly somewhere else time to move on. Its nice to have guys who play for the club nit themselves and coin. The roosters used to have that too you know. Nah, you wouldn't know.....

Too true. It was shut down pretty quick as well.

Says a lot about Uncle Nicks sway at NRL HQ as to how the Roosters can pay so many so well.

Hard to have soul at a club built on suitcases and transit lounges. Must make you proud. Particularly last year when your cheque book bought second last......

lol!

Remind me, how many times have the Roosters been found guilty of a major salary cap breach?

Fact is people want to be successful.

That's why quality people are attracted to the Roosters, and steer well clear of your mob.

Yes, we did finish 15th in 2016. Such is the nature of a competition regulated by a salary cap.

* Insert autistic screeching about brown paper bags *

You do realise that your team won just 1 game last year right? haha

How do you know what the Roosters spent last year?

When you're not dribbling into your corn flakes wearing your tin foil hat do you do part time work for the NRL as an auditor?

Dont worry, you wont be second last this year and there are plenty more dollars for all the roosters.....
Now its a school night so put on your jim jams, tuck up and go to sleep little rooster.

Big day tomorrow. Super Mitch gets picked to ruin Origin for NSW......

Oh, look who's resorting to derogatory comments because they're losing an argument again!

I see why you're so passionate about your beloved Knights.

Birds of a feather and all that..

Was a quote in the Telegraph on either Saturday or Sunday by Daniel Tupou saying he's in the final stages of negotiations with the Roosters to re-sign on a 4 year deal.

Lolohea has done a verbal agreement with the Tigers for this year whats hesitating the warriors is they want a forward to compensate (from anywhere)

They don't need a forward, they need a coach. Jason Taylor's not doing anything is he?

They're not going to get a new coach. Eric Watson has some sort of obsession with Kearney and rates him above all. Eventually Stacey will get his turn and I'm sure he will shine as Head Coach but until then I can't see Kearney getting anything out of his pea heart squad.

Why should the Warriors ask for compensation? They aren't going to play Lolohea in first grade so he is just burning a hole in their pockets by keeping him.

Lolohea won't last a season in first grade with the Tigers, or anyone else . . . what's the fascination

Isn't this thread to discuss rumoured signings..well there's your answer

He wouldn't be the first player I'd go after, but he's good enough to cover 5/8 this year then hopefully slot in at fb bext year

It's like they're using him as bargaining power. Initially they wanted to do a swap with the Cowboys or Raiders but that's now fallen through because Lolohea doesn't want to go there due to minimal opportunities. He'll be in the same position that he's in now with the Warriors, but if he goes to the Tigers he's a walk up start for this season at five eighth and then probably the first choice fullback next season.

Warriors are trying to secure a wing/fullback back up for this year or a forward that will also be there next year.

If they get either they'll probably release him.
