Backrow is their strongest position by far. Very weird signing.

Btw Gus Gould is the most flakey merkin in league. How many blokes has he signed to long deals only to let release within a year or two?

Their starting pack when fit is Martin, Jackson and Faitala-Mariner, with Elliott and CHN on the bench I guess. Fine is a handy player too, as is Chris Smith an ex-Rooster. They also signed Sauaso Sue who is a 2nd rower if I'm not mistaken. All are better than the gnome Clay Priest @Rhino_NQ who has been lucky to get a handful of games this season.

Gus seems to like a lot of players and coaches but wants new toys after a few years.

He was originally a five eight in fact when he came to the Roosters who could also play centre. It was only last year he realised if he wanted to play first grade at the Roosters as Keartu was there, he needed to move into the back row. He put on some muiscle in the off season towards that end.
