Not sure how I feel about this. He’s been pretty good this year but I’m just waiting for his errors and penalties.

NBN news tweeted a piece about Luke Huth who used to play for our junior grades (now at Cessnock). They captioned it that he could be an option for the Knights to replace Brailey but watching the video seems more that’s their opinion rather than any evidence the club is looking at him. He’d struggle anyway not having trained with FG squad, but I just wish we were looking at any hooker tbh.

Surely there must be at least 10 hooker in NSW or QLD cup just looking for a chance to crack into an NRL side...

If Fitzy does go Super League, player swap for KPP?

If Fitz goes to super league then would have to assume it’s at season end which negates a player swap need.

Liked what little I saw of Huth, assumed he would have been offered some sort of deal with Randall moving on unless Cessnock was decided prior to that.
Somebody obviously rated Crosslands a better option than Huth at 9 because he wasnt needed at 7 with Clune as backup.

Huth being diabetic would have to be somewhat of a hurdle with the intensity of NRL compared to NSW Cup or playing for Cessnock. There was an article on him last year talking about it and how he needs to be monitored and managed constantly throughout the match.

Don't know what Fitz is on but I'd wager we're getting value for money this year. Yes he has errors in his game but is a big body and has been more physical this season. Will never be a top backrower but could be a complimentary piece going forward.

The discipline is an issue but Fitz hasn’t let us down this year IMO. Easily his best season since his first couple with Ponga. There’s been a clear shift in attitude and application by him.

Fitz has been good this season, probably his best game by game, he has a couple of things I like about him, aggression, always patting teammates back, calling players to get in defence line, effort.
Yes he can make mistakes, poor decisions, dropped ball, which are quickly seized on by critics, but I wouldn’t be disappointed if we kept him for another season or two and see how KPP and our young up and comings, Lucas, Cant, Martin, are going
