Happier with this than I would have been Oates. He’ll get the job done but definitely a downgrade on Dom. I’m also very hesitant re signing Penrith players as most of them just look good in a good system and look like shit out of it.

Charlie Staines has probably been Wests’ best outside back tbh & he’d become a bit of an object of ridicule at Panther for not being as good as To’o and May. Not elite but he gives it his all every week. Guess the Tigers haven’t shaken the Penrith culture out of him yet.

Given how strong the Penrith system is and how many players are competing for spots in all levels of their competitions, I think you’ve gotta be a pretty good player to make your first grade debut at Penrith.

Dom is a freak so I know we’re not getting a like for like replacement but this Jenkins kid won’t cost much and based on those highlights he’s got some talent so it’s worth a roll of the dice for sure imo.

Tracey isn’t going to improve the squad. Jenkins has plenty to offer. Five tries in five games. Part of their GF squad albeit as injury cover. Sivo could not get a start there. They can produce a winger as history has shown.
