f**k off to your own forum. You Clearly have no Footy knowledge then.
The Newcastle centre has opted to turn down a two-year offer from the Roosters to stick with the Knights for 2025.
The challenge of uprooting his young family from Newcastle to Sydney was a sticking point for Gagai, while the Knights were also able to keep the door ajar by including an option for a second year in 2026.
Gagai contacted Roosters coach Trent Robinson on Wednesday morning to inform him of the decision.
The Roosters will continue their hunt for additional coverage in their backline for when Joseph Suaalii, Joey Manu, Daniel Tupou and Michael Jennings finish up at the end of 2025.
Storm centre Reimis Smith is one option the Roosters will look at in coming days.
Common sense prevails. Reckon he just wanted to know his worth.Apparently Gags has told the Chooks he's staying at the Knights.
this would have driven me insaneMore than anything I'm probably glad I don't have to watch Gagai and Dom play for the Roosters together.
He had him going to Souths and Wayne a week ago.Good to have Woosh locked in for a couple more years.
The were talking about it on 360. It pained Braith to talk about one of the 14 or so clubs they never talk about so he immediately brought it back to the Roosters after 0.4 seconds.Love the way FOX frame the story - not that he loves Newcastle, loves the club, the playing group and wanted to stay. Just reluctant to move the family as the only reason he rejected the Rorters storage room of brown paper bags.
"Gagai was reluctant to uproot his family who are settled in Newcastle to return to Sydney in 2025."
I am making those claims based on reports at the time. I cannot help you if you
And Fifita is going to Penrith or staying at Titans according to the most recent reports. It seems the Roosters are being told no for once.
Doesn’t have a good enough criminal record?Had a look over at their forum to see their reaction about potentially signing him (I always find it interesting to see if neutrals also rate players we rate or we’re just biased) - bunch of them saying Gags isn’t good enough for the privilege of wearing a Roosters jersey. Dont they have Michael Jennings running around for them lmao?
