Would have been a great signing for captain of cup - like we did with Clint Newton. I thought the same of Sione also. We sometimes miss opportunities to bring back blokes that love the club and have something to offer to development of the younger blokes.

He is so peak Newcastle Knights average. But I'd like to think it's not much and you need a few cheapies to come in and do a job when required. If he's a regular in the 17, we are in trouble.

I think he suffered by being thrown into centre early on then being expected to play as a middle when he clearly didnt have the size.

Hes backrow depth and a local. It wouldnt have been a very expensive contract

And why the rush to re-sign him? Odds of him turning into some kind of game breaker and price sky rocketing have to be basement level low.
