Also in there Tedesco > Roosters

James Tedesco and Aaron Woods are leaving the Tigers with the fullback joining the Roosters and the prop linking with the Bulldogs, who have also snapped up Kieran Foran from the Warriors after just missing out on snaring Tedesco.

Tedesco was all but “over the line” at the Bulldogs before the Roosters stepped in to trump their offer, ending weeks of the most frantic contract negotiations.

Fox are suggesting the Bulldogs players likely to be cut could include Mbye and/or the Morris boys...

They are also suggesting Kasiano would likely go before Graham...

Hodko dropped, no one will sign here now because we lack stability.

Well I guess that remains to be seen doesn't it.

Not a good look from the outside though, dumping your captain and supposed big signing half .

Feeney is in, so we get to see how this plays out. He certainly can't go worse than Hodkinson.

Who is goal kicking? Lamb?

We need halves and props.

Mbye and Reynolds are garbage.

Tigers have $2m+ now to snap up anyone half decent. Matulino will go there.

Widdop will go back to the Storm.

We might end up with chad townsend.

Mbye's stock has fallen but he's still young and has the potential to be a really good player IMO. Not sure how much he's on but I'd be willing to take a punt on him if the Dogs are trying to move him. Would be an upgrade on Hodkinson at the least.

He's on something dumb like $750k a season. Has no one watched a dogs game this year? Reynolds and mbye have been clueless. They were going nowhere fast until some nobody called frawley bailed them out. If he didn't come off the bench against us we beat the dogs and their rubbish halves.

Its sad that Mac was right all along. We knew we were disadvantaged when it came to TPAs but had been proven by other clubs that you can get around that if you manage your cap properly. Now Brown has put us in a great position with the cap but the big clubs with TPAs have killed us off.

To be honest I think Mbye and Reynolds are both pretty decent players but they aren't good as a combination because neither of them is capable of taking control and being structured. For mine they're both running 5/8's who need to have a proper playmaker beside them to be at their best. Honestly I wouldn't be disappointed to get Reynolds, he's always in the game and always has a massive dig and he actually takes on the line which is a massive upgrade on our two halves right now. I don't think he's worth paying overs for but if we could get him for $500k-$600k I'd be ok with that.

It's a curse.

And my point was always that the ground is moving fast underneath us. The fact that other clubs did it years ago doesn't mean we can do it now - the landscape has changed too much and we have been left too far behind.

I reckon SKD is the back up plan if Gagai decides to leave. There simply isn't any backs on the market, SKD just about the best of them really. But would be very surprised if Gagai left.

Would rather have Pete then SKD.

God, trading Gagai for SKD... That really would be the shit frosting on our 2017 "recruitment drive", wouldn't it?

Pretty f**king disillusioned with it all right now. It has always been pretty obvious but the kast 2 weeks have shown it to be blatantly in favour of certain clubs.
