I’ll trust Brown and Mooney on this one, they don’t look to sign players without doing plenty of due diligence so I’m assuming Brown has spoken to the right people and feels like it’s at least worth inviting Vave for a conversation.

I don’t know too much about him but sounds like he’s a big unit. Doesn’t look like he’ll be a guy who would pump out big stats due to fitness but we’ve already got Dan and Herman who can do that, maybe a guy like Vave can come on for 15 mins each half and provide some impact, just tell him to run hard and tackle hard for a short period. Surely it’s better than the alternatives that we have right now *cough cough* Josh King *cough cough*

How do you think our forwards would have stood up in that game on Friday night but Joel.

Glasby's numbers weren't great but he had a go.

Obviously we desperately need 2 big bodies that will rack bigger metres up and bring an aggressive presence and win the middle more often and if we get them Glasby will be a decent piece to the puzzle. He'll be able to play his part well.

If we don't get them we are still rowing with one oar for another year.

Geez I'm hoping J Saifiti hits his straps next year. We have Dan Saifiti who should have a good year again in 2019 and Ese'ese who is a quality forward. If we can sign 2 decent props and J Saifiti can start playing like his brother, then we will be looking good. Our spine is good (if Levi raises his ceiling and plays consistently) and our backline is looking terrific, so there is a degree of optimism there.

Glasby also went off injured during his second stint on the field.

The week before he had poor numbers, but he did 6 hit ups in his 12 minutes of game time- not sure if he had limited time because of injury or Bellamy's game plan.

I’m confident Glasby will be a good signing. I think people are critical because he doesn’t fill the area of highest need right now, i.e. big body with a bit of agro.

He is a good defender, will help us actually start the first 10-15 without being 12-0 down.

If we can snag that big signing in the forwards we will be in for a fantastic season.

Exactly, I wonder if Brown sees him as a starter or a benchie. He’s probably not going to pump out 100+ metres per game but if he can make 30+ and help us win the ruck in defence then he’s doing his job.
in a side desperate for a steady hand and experience I'd say Browny will want him on the field as much as possible. Ideally he'd be on the bench injected after some fatigue's set in to the game, but beggars cant be choosers
