Surely it would be someone from team not in 8, excluding out of Syd, Cowboys, Titans, Canberra leaves Manly, Parra, Tigers and Dogs as most likely, certainly interesting.
Wouldn't think anyone at Parra or Tigers so I an shortlisting/guessing it's Manly or Dogs.

- Siosaia Vave was at Knights HQ during the week to meet with Browny. Unclear if Knights have made an offer or are in the process of making an offer. We're still believed to have 7 spots for new recruits and plan to use 3 of them on middle forwards.
- Mason Lino is the Knights main halves target for next season. He's still under contract with the Warriors but they won't stand in his way if he can get a multi-year deal elsewhere. Matt Frawley is still in the picture but no offer has been made and no guarantee one will be.
- Incoming assistant coach and Tonga head coach Kristian Woolf could be an ace up the Knights sleeve in their pursuit of Tevita Pangai Jr.
- Issac Luke has held talks with the Knights but with whispers that he is in need of a shoulder reconstruction it's unlikely talks will go any further.
- Nathan Brown will spend next week in All Blacks camp.

Stone is still a pretty decent prospect imo. Runs a good line, decent size, pretty good defender. He was of our best in NSW Cup week in and week out, not that there was a lot of competition there.

Was just unlucky that back row our only position that was injury free in First Grade.

Stone needs to beef up a little and a few years to mature. Leave him to develop another year.

Pretty depressing news all round. Lino is still under contract too.

But the article mentions they’d let him walk if he could get a multi year deal. Great little player IMO. Depends if they’re running with Ponga at 6 or 1 next year. Personally:
1) Ponga
6) Lino
7) Pearce
9) Watson

24 years of age and still hasnt nailed down a first grade spot ? meh, I'd look at him as a back up only, certainly not a first grade starter- we aint gonna push into the top 4 or challenge for a Premiership with him in first grade.

Nice back up though.
