I hate to be that guy, but I don't like the chances of Moga having a rugby league career. Therefore, the Jennings signing makes sense otherwise we're in the precarious situation of being short a centre again.

I would think most league fans, knowing his history, would be thinking the exact same way. I wish him all the best but if ever anyone has been up against it - he and Griff sure epitomise blokes who have no luck at all with their knees.

I'd take Jennings over Ross any day of the week. Clearly we need a proper centre over a winger and Ross has shown again and again he is a winger playing one in from the wing. If we also get Mann on a small deal together with Klemmer and Jennings that's another plus as well.

Really liking the direction the team is heading lately. Can't wait for the new thread of Klemmer signing to pop up. That's the first thing I check for the past few mornings.

Who was that guy who signed for us but left for the Broncos? He must be hating in himself hard.

Article in the telegraph today saying that if Bennett coaches the bunnies next year, he might move one of the Burgess twins on. Question: would be take either of them?
Personally I’d take George if he finds his 2014 form. Tom seemed to outplay him this year though. Definitely both are big bodies that we need

If we got the cap space, I would easily take either! Imagine our acl starting with Klemmer and one of the Burgess boys and bringing on Saifiti and Ese'ese. That is a forward pack I'd love to see.

I would definitely take either of the twins, they’ve got some derp in them from time to time but they run hard and hit hard too. Only issue is their form has definitely been up and down over the last few years. Wouldn’t want to pay marquee money for either.

That being said it’s highly doubtful that either would leave Sydney given their family ties so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them end up at Sydney clubs if Wayne were to cut one or both loose.

All three Burgess boys are good, Sam extra good, not sure how either or both would go away from Sam, it's like he is the driving force besides may not happen and by 2020 we may have a complete roster, Klemmer plus some.

I'd say that's nothing but a slow news day. Would be very surprised if Bennett has even thought such a thing let alone uttered the words to anyone. Purely speculation from a journalist wondering what to write about.

I guess the logic, if anything, behind it is if he brings players, TPJ etc, then will need to make room, and prop for prop makes sense but true it's just speculation at this stage.

Lachlan Fitzgibbon has re-signed with the nib Newcastle Knights until at least the end of 2021.

The hard-working backrower has upgraded his contract for 2019 and extended for a further two seasons.

Knights CEO Philip Gardner believes the retention of the local product is a key move for the Club's health.

"Lachlan is a fantastic player and above all else, a quality young man," Mr Gardner said.

"Lachlan is a Newcastle product and represents what the Club is about. He's dedicated, hardworking, selfless and puts the team first.

"He's extended with us until 2021, at which time we hope he will be a State of Origin backrower.

"Having secured Lachlan, we have taking a big step forward to ensuring the Knights are on track for a successful future."

Having progressed through the Knights system, Fitzgibbon made his NRL debut in 2015 but solidified himself as a starting first grader last season following a strong finish to 2017.

"He's an improving player and one we're very happy to have as part of our long-term future."

A hard worker who runs fearless lines, Fitzgibbon finished last season with nine tries, the second highest for the team.

Fitzgibbon, who made 21 appearances for the Club in 2018, is thrilled to have his future secured.

"I love this Club and the town, so to re-sign for another few years is incredible," Fitzgibbon said.

"I feel like the playing group we have here are a great bunch of blokes and we're building nicely towards some bright years.

"Knowing that I'll be part of that is very exciting."

Stating what we already know, but I had a look over how Klemmer compares to our middle forwards. I added Glasby in too, but off the bench as that's where he's played the majority of games.
Of the 15 stats - Klem came in top 3 for us in 9.
