Shibasaki has agreed to a 3 year deal, waiting on Broncos to formalise his release.

I don’t know much about this guy apart from that he’s played a little bit of first grade at he Broncos. Assuming he’s coming on low coin it’s not a bad signing. I would have liked to see maybe a 1 or 2 year deal max though, so if he isn’t up to it then we don’t have to keep him.

As much hype as there is for Lomax, he hasn't really proven himself in first grade yet IMO. 6 years is a risky move for the Dragons.

Big Risk indeed, they must be pretty certain he's going to be a special player. 6 years is an eternity in football.

I think we have enough big names on big contacts already at the club. We need cheaper fill in role players who will bring 7/10 every game and just be happy to play their role at the club.

Isnt DCE on 1.2 million a year ? in any case within the next 3-4 years it wouldnt surprise me if some players are on that much.

Is he worth it ? in marketing and sponsorship and exposure for the Knights brand - yes ....

Is he worth it ? n cap space thats another question altogether. Can a team have 1.5 of cap locked up in 1 player and remain competitive ?

If winning starts at the front office then Wests need to come to the party and make some 3rd parties happen.
