King is off to the Storm? I was thinking of getting a King jersey this year... Has really grown on me. He and Watson are two players I've grown attracted to. Can see why there is a fan backlash. However, not the end of thr world.

Where there is loss, there is opportunity. I hope we are trying to sign a gun edge backrower. Wish King and Watson had decided what to do earlier because it seems we should have gone harder for TPJ...

Any other options for edge back row on the market?

Team needs a good goal kicker.
Isaako will be more than likely pushed out with Oates/Farnworth the starting wingers and they also signed Jordan Pereira.
Yes he has been absolute trash the past two seasons but that has coincide with his old man passing away.
He was a very good winger before all that went down.
He needs a change of scenery, could be an astute buy if the Broncos want to chip in for some of his contract.

I’m really unsure on Isaako.

Had a super rookie season, but he doesn’t seem to offer what we’re looking in a winger. Someone who is good under the high ball and can provide strong kicks returns. He is a bit vanilla besides the goal kicking.

I don’t know how much better he can be in a change of environment.

King is the kind of signing that Bellamy can do a lot with. I don't think he's going to turn into a top prop or anything, but I thin khe'll give them good service down there, and potentially get more gametime.

He'll be their new Aiden Tolman. Excited for the guy though- will be interesting to see what their system can get from him.

Who are we going to fill these roster spots with?

Whoever it is, our fairly boring offseason just got a bit more exciting.

Should get more out of Saulo and Momoisea in 2022 as both spent little time on field this year, also have a couple of likely looking lads that played some reserves, Ticehurst and Crocker who had a game in 1sts

This has been King's best season by far and even now he's average at best. Hope he goes well in Melbourne but I won't be losing sleep over it.
The problem is, for every above average player we have, we also need a cheaper, lesser skilled one to balance the cap.

King is no world beater, but he does a job cheaply, and saves cap so we can pay Ponga what we have to.

I think he'll be exactly Bellamy's sort of player.

Absolutely. But Bellamy's way of playing is just bringing in capable cogs in the system in case of injury and suspension. He will just need to do his job.

Supposedly recruited by Glasby, or at least given a good word by Glasby. He'll probably be a Glasby type for them.

Anyone with a pulse and all their limbs is a Bellamy sort of player.

Depth props are a dime a dozen. If Saulo, Momoisea, Croker aren't already capable of defending competently and taking plodding hit ups for 20 minutes off the bench then look elsewhere.

Sure. But it's generally cheaper to keep than to bring in. Unless your club is a clusterf**k.
