Conner Watson going to the Roosters for less.
Is James Hooper kidding? Playing group/coaching staff rift!
Get a grip media and acknowledge the elephant in the room. All the roosters have going for themselves is Uncle Nick.

Hey scoop! How about a story on how even the comp is taking the salary cap PLUS third parties into account. Let’s see who finishes top of the table.
Also Hoops, is this your joke and we are the fools who have to swallow?

We should go after Moses Suli. Can cover backrow too (actually would be excited to play him there) and would be explosive off the bench like he's shown for Manly. Seems a bit out of favour for them not making the 17 but I reckon he could be really valuable for us.

Nah he has always struck me as a guy with a bad attitude tbh. Plenty of talent but hasn’t consistently shown it.

He's not exactly a like-for-like signing as Watson , but he's definitely a guy who could create plenty of x-factor off the bench like him. I can't remember the game but he had great stats off the bench and caused a lot of havoc to the opposition. Eventually I'd groom him into the left edge backrow position.

Watson backed himself to have a good season in 2021 after being injury plagued over multiple seasons. He sought out specialised rehab to prevent further injury and worked on a passing game. Tick and tick.

Now he is doing the opposite of what many recruits from other clubs have not done well over the years when they've arrived here - get out of their comfort zone.

Wish him all the best.

I’m really unsure on Isaako.

Had a super rookie season, but he doesn’t seem to offer what we’re looking in a winger. Someone who is good under the high ball and can provide strong kicks returns. He is a bit vanilla besides the goal kicking.

I don’t know how much better he can be in a change of environment.
If he didn’t kick goals I wouldn’t look at him but when Clifford is kicking below 70% then Isaako is worth a punt if the price is right.

I remember 2019 semi final against souths, he absolutely gave Gagai a bath and almost single handedly won the game for manly, at that point given he was only 21 and showing that level of ability in a semi final I thought he'd turn into the best centre in the game. There's obvious character questions with him but the potential is enormous

As I said, I used the FoxSports ones. I don't care if they aren't exact with NRL - they're easier to scrape.

Fittler recently mentioned he thinks we will struggle in the finals because we have Mann at centre. Every opposition will know he is our weak link. Gagai isn't a great player but a huge upgrade on Mann.

I sti think Mann's extension is a much worse decision than signing Gagai.
