Mann, Watson and Hoy are too similar for my tastes.

not sure with Hoy havent see enough of him but there were some touches where it looked like he may develop a passing and kicking game, certainly had a semi decent boot on him.

Given some time he may develop.

I think the plan is for some areas to be open to the public, in any case it looks like it's years away yet.

I’m glad we’re keeping Connor for another year. Hopefully he can get over his injury curse and play some footy next year. He also seems like the kind of guy you want around your club.

The article above by Michael Parris was posted in the Newcastle Herald on 30th July...based on the article, there was supposed to be a meeting the following week between the parties to thrash things out...that's a week or 2 ago now.

I haven't seen or heard anything since though?

That would be a no from me for Foran. He'd be lucky to play 50% of his matches and only delay the development of one of our young players that we need to develop to take over when Pearce leaves.

What's wrong with Proctor? Would he be on massive wages? Seems like a good player and we need more experienced edge back rowers if you ask me. Guerra has been gun but he shouldn't be playing as our starting back rower.

Also, would love to have Foran at the club. Can't think of a better partner for Pearce. If he takes a cut price deal and we get lucky and he plays 80% of games, it's a godsend.

We need another half to compliment Pearce. Apparently we have no room under the cap, no money to sign Green for another year.

Proctor has been stealing a living until a few game stretch this year - a contract year. He also wouldn't give us any strike on the edge. May as well keep playing Fitz there than fork out extra coin for an older Fitz.

Green and McCullough were fantastic signings- the club saw a weakness and acted very quickly to try and fix it. So much better than what would have happened in the past.
