It’s amusing isn’t it how news works. Everyone saying Payten wanted Benji in place of a kid with many more tomorrows in his career. Made little sense.Fox sports saying Cowboys want to keep Clifford now

Cows refusing to release Clifford at this stage but could still sign with the Knights for 2022 and beyond, and Blake Green has secured a release from the Dogs to sign a 1-year deal with the Knights.

No argument from me.At this time of year we have much activity with little or no results except rumours, don’t think we will see big changes, same squad except for minor changes that will neither see improvements or failures.
Basically we will have what we have with some non local additives that might take a year or two to settle.
We have 5-6 young up and coming locals who can fill our needs, not sure why they are not being seriously considered for inclusion in squad, hopefully at least development position
We are overloaded with players who play many positions without being good enough to make A position there own costing us players who specialise in A position, 5/8 for example
King for example, we have lost several middle forwards without signing anyone similar, can only assume that we are letting local player stand idle to see what we might get and if no one then we might sign him, I’m not a big King fan, or Saulo for that matter but we are an injury away from a shortage of middle forwards.
Bottom line is our squad seems a bit uneven
We have to let go of some of these players off contract soon. No news on the likes of Moga and King afaik.

It's obvious, he has the chance to play with Mitch Pearce.
I don't generally like to re-hash old indiscretions but.....I wish we could all be so lucky.
Nearly every big name player has the same clause, its really not a concernThese rumours about Kalyn’s contract clauses are what I wouldn’t mind seeing some clarity on. It might explain Why we aren’t moving big in the market or as fast as others are. Certainly complicated things if they are true.

What I mean is we haven't announced if we will renew some of them and there's no public announcements on someYou don't let go of un-contracted players... They are free to do whatever they like.
I think he will go good and we need a player like him, but yeah, maybe a younger, healthier him.Bit worrisome if we're relying on a mid 30s, semi-retired, ACL injury journeyman to be the 5/8th to take us to the Premiership. Basically writing off next season?
Not saying he will be terrible but surely we need a better option A.
