If I could pick anyone I'd want Moses or Dearden. I really hope something happens at the Eels and we can have a crack at Moses.
Managed by Cove Agency same as our recruitment guru Sully so ya never know. He would be my pick if I could make a wish.

Recruit/promote a young up and coming kid for him to mentor and play outside and hand over the keys to down the track.

We dont just need a half back, if they are serious about winning we need a 5/8 as well.

A shitload of our junior prospects + Will Pryce are either five-eighths or should have the attributes to make a good 6. I’ve heard that there have been a fair few attempts to poach one of the 6’s we’ll have on our development list next year (Jye Linnane), which is a good sign in relation to him in particular.

We definitely need one, but something is going wrong if we can’t develop one given all the prospects we have to work with.

We’ve had fart all coming through at 7 since Jonah racked off though. Haami Loza looks decent I guess but Jonah was the best halves prospect in the system since Jarrod Mullen. It’s definitely the position where recruitment should be the means of addressing the issue, and 6 probably shouldn’t.

I have heard his name before . He is injured ? how far away would he be to making a debut you think?

He did his ACL this year unfortunately. 18/19. I think it’s likely he’ll play some Flegg and some Cup this year. There’s highlights of his on YouTube but I have heard he’s the kind of guy who impresses more over a full game, has a very physical, high energy style of play:

Teams can talk to agents at any time and even "unofficially" make offers, just nothing can be signed until they're officially a free agent. Leo will already have a very good idea of who's interested and how much they're prepared to pay.

It’s comforting to know that we have POS on board and won’t overpay to keep him. I could honestly see us panicking and giving him a DSaf level contract if this was happening pre-POS.

I thought the whole reason that Ben Hunt wants out of the Dragons is to go back to QLD so it seems weird that he’d sign for another Sydney club.

I'd have a guess and say the Roosters have plenty of cash for Leo to play in cup as a back up. Self proclaimed perennial title challengers is a big lure and Robinson will promise to make him an immortal.

If the Warriors have coin the chance to go home and link with JFH would be huge.

Would have to be some serious coin for him to go Bulldogs on a rebuild I'd imagine. Maybe his agent trying to up his price.

Anyone know who manages Leo?

Leo has never given an indication he wants to leave. He is going to market cos our offer to upgrade him fell short. Sully cannot possibly know what our 2026
Cap will be. Not this early. And it is irresponsible to throw numbers at a player which can lead to a breach down the track.

He would have programs and set parameters on algorithms with projections for years ahead regards cap, recruitment targets and junior retention, all with built in contingency.

He would already a very good idea who he's letting go, retain, and who he wants to recruit - now a matter of process.

Plans for a proposed player swap between Lachie Ilias and Jackson Hastings have ended after talks in recent days.

It is understood the Knights and Souths Sydney were open to the planned switch but those conversations have since broken down.

Ilias reached out to incoming South Sydney coach Wayne Bennett on Wednesday who made it clear there was still future for the young half at the club should be wish to see out his contract.

Bennett had been to sign Hastings having spent time with him during a Great Britain tour in 2019.

Hastings has one year left one his $800,000 contract with the Knights where he was in and out of first grade this year.

Ilias had his own up and down year after being axed from the top grade. He then suffered a serious leg injury which ruled him out for the rest of the season.
