Can't believe people don't want Robson. He is class. He is a great hooker and can cover 13 as well.

It’s not that people don’t want him. It’s the fact that our biggest need area is halfback. Brailey/Crossland/Arthur will do a better job at hooker than Cogger/Hastings/Crossland have been doing at 7.

If POS has already identified he won’t be able to find a halfback then sure, throw money at Robson - he’s better than what we have definitely. It’s too early though to say that POS won’t be able to identify a half and wrap more money up at 9.

It’s been asked before but is there any chance Hastings adjusts his attitude and goes back to being our best option at halfback?

I reckon a lot of Hastings’ attitude issues last year were brought on by the fact that his body gave out on him. It’s promising that he’s already back for pre season. If he can play a bit better physically I reckon the attitude will improve, especially expecting a child will hopefully put things into perspective for him a bit.

Whether his injury will allow him to get back to 2023 levels though or the other players can bury the hatchet remains to be seen. I’m not confident.

Everyone has written him off. I’d like to see him succeed. It would not be easy playing beside a chronic sook and bully like Walker. Ironically a guy who did not find his feet until he was 26. People forget he failed at Storm and Titans.

The attitude concerns allude to his teammates turning on him again, as has been the case at every stop in his career so far. The leadership group allegedly told the coach they didn't want him brought back up from reserve grade late in the year.

Not hating on Hastings or anything but saw some preseason photos and he looked chubby as hell. All the other guys looked pretty fit already. Don't know if he is trying all that hard like he was saying in his interviews.
