Kurt was a great player and the ultimate competitor. The comparison between him and Phoenix is understandable but I do not agree with the stance he was a hard worker purely over natural ability. He had plenty of talent.

Brown and KP being on the same team sheet would give opposition coaches nightmares.

Then it’s less of an issue not having a big name halfback because their job is just to give the ball to Brown and KP whenever they want it.

Excited to see what Sharpe can do at 6. He is a footballer. The defence might be the issue, and not sure what his kicking game is like, but he has spark.

Brown had a pretty awful year last year. He isn't an organiser which is what we are missing. I don't think Brown on big coin is good value for us.

If only it were that simple

We don't need another running half, we need an organiser and someone who can kick us out of trouble. Brown would be a waste of cap imo

Brown's asking price will be substantially over $1m. I'd be more open to it if I didn't think we could manufacture a 6 if we could just get a good 7. I don't believe the reverse is true.
