Bloke in a bar would be fine if they didn’t take themselves so seriously. They honestly think they know more about the game than anyone when there knowledge for the most part is pretty average.

They just spout cliches and regurgitate others opinions and Guru is the worst. Anyone who’s ever been associated with the Roosters is amazing. You’d think they’d won the last 4 comps listening to him.
Gave it a go last year but it starts to grate after a while for sure. I don't even want to listen to 4 hours of talking from people I like let alone 4 hours of "Mate how good is player X going?" "Mate so good".

It’s even worse now that the fat bloke has a genuine vendetta against us. They spent 15 of their 20 minute preview talking about how shit we are and the last 5 minutes rapping just about every player in our 17.

Apparently D Saf chose to leave us, we didn’t want Dom Young and we refused to play Adam Elliot at lock at one stage aswell. QuaLitY inSiGhT!

Wasn’t it reported that DSaf being moved on was also part of the reason Leo left? In that case I’d certainly believe it also impacted on Sua’s decision (especially considering what club he’s ended up at). He was apparently an extremely popular team member in the forward back.

It’s a tough one because I still think moving DSaf on was 100% the right decision, but it’s definitely had flow on effects.

That will partially be down to set completions and playing a low risk style of footy.

Perhaps AOB has clicked that the DSaf style of prop isn't as effective any more and is open to a more mobile pack with the likes of Jones and maybe even Frizzell spending time in the middle. I'm not huge on Jones but he did show improvement last year.

Jones improved last year for sure. He’s not ever likely to be a game breaking player but if he can be a guy who we can rely on to play 30-40 mins in the middle each week and make 100 running metres and 25-30 tackles with a high efficiency then he’s doing a good job.

From the Mole:

DISGRUNTLED STAR EYES RETURN

Which player switched clubs in 2024 and now realises he made a terrible mistake?

The player - one of the biggest-name signings from last season - isn't happy in his new surroundings and would love nothing better than to return to his old club for 2026.

The former club would take him back in a heartbeat … IF they could find room in the salary cap.

Time will tell.

Could be a thousand different players, but how would fans react if it were Dom Young?
