NAS is worth at least what Junior Paulo is on.

He's like junior in that for this and the next contracts they will probably both attract overs compared to their development - they both show elite qualities.

He has less potential downside than junior though who has weight / discipline issues.

Plus NAS will have rugby pumping up his price. Not third grade subbies either.

Sure is buddy.

Well I hope we have a go at him. He runs with more aggression then any of our current frontrowers.

Like ive said before. Twal is the next good front rower our club will produce. I see plenty i like. Big engine and mobile.A leader and a big heart. Once he is physically ready he will go well. 10yr first grader in the making.

I agree.

I hope we give Gower another year. Besides Twal I cannot see anything from the lower grades to get excited about.

Unfortunately I think you are right, unless we get real lucky and we jag a late bloomer. Unlikely though.

And doesn't get what anyone sees in Nelson Asofa-Solomona... That will do me.

I do get what everone sees in this kid, it's just that the raps on him are massive and up until the last month he was well and truly over hyped.

But of course if he fulfills his potential, sure he is a gun.

Apparently Moeroa is a pillow for doing1.5 times better in less minutes.
That is, according to our resident talent scout

Poor rammy. Couldn't pick a first grader if his life depended on it,

Yeah you keep telling yourself that mate. Pump up those tyres. If mummy won't do it anymore, why not do it yourself. Got to get that pat on the back somehow. Right?

To be honest I was a little bit disappointed with the softness of Windscreens. For a bloke of his size he looked like he will offer very little in the way of damage to the line.

Hopefully it's just a case of the kid finding his legs. With Mannah due back this week, though, it might be a while before Windscreens gets another shot. My suggestion to the kid is to make sure he takes the next chance he gets to show everyone that he's not just an oversized marshmallow.

Problem is he is not a kid. He is 27. How much stronger can he get?

If you look at his carries, often he got poor ball and was forced to run from a standing start towards a fast approaching defence.

I think he deserves another shot before we put the line through his name.

Sure. It's a little chip at the moment. Just get that glue stuff to patch it up, for now. I wouldn't be looking for a wholesale replacement but if that chip turns into a crack...

And Windscreens is 27? Shit, I'd be keeping an eye on that chip and calling it a crack earlier than I otherwise would...

I think tepai has to go back to the edge. He isnt quite aggressive enough in the middle.

He could defend in the middle but attack on the edge.

Scott and KE can defend on the edge and attack in the middle. KE runs harder with more aggression which suits the middle more.

Tepai is being wasted as a battering ram in the middle. Should be running out wide.

That's what he's best at though. He loves contact. Plus he's a pretty poor defender out wide whereas Beau Scott is not only the best in our team (defensively) but pretty good across the competition. Why change that?

Agree. Personally I'd like to see Tepai on the bench and brought on to play in the edges. Either side would do.

Scott I find to be our most ineffective wide running forward in attack. Wouldn't be moving him at all though. He is majorly underrated.

Tepai gets stuck laterally in defence.
Contact defensively in the middle is his thing. I think he has gone ok as the middle guy.

Moeroa is working f**ken hard too, with good line speed. Smashed a merkin on the weekend too, which we haven't seen for a while.

FFS, I said Teps defends in the middle, Scott out wide then switch them in defense

Scott has developed an offload which has improved his running game heaps even when he runs up he middle
