Williams would be a decent swap
Agreed! We are shit in the Hunter these days and the games are always shit. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat us convincingly, I'm not sure how focused the boys will be.
There is just too much going on at the moment.
The only experienced player that appears to be on the outer at the Raiders is Frank-Paul. Outside of that they appear to have re-signed everyone of their Top 20 players for next season (except for Baptiste).
The likes of Bateman, Lima and Clay Priest could be worth a go, but are they any better than what we already have on our books?
Williams would be a decent swap
We beat them last year after being two tries down up there. While we have lost two a row, we haven't been shit. The effort has been pretty good.
I think we are at the point where we are just about done. If they have mentally given up we could really just not try.
I have been conditioned by this club to expect the worst, so I do.
Geez, just drop a couple of pills and cheer up will ya!?
Looks like release for Junior Paulo is about to happen - off to Raiders @9NewsSyd
https://www.melbournestorm.com.au/news/2016/05/27/storm_sign_fijian_fa.htmlMelbourne Storm has today announced the signing of Sunshine Coast Falcons player Erevonu ‘Tui’ Kamikamica until the end of the 2018 season.
The Fijian front rower caught the attention of Storm recruiters this year after a stellar start to the Queensland Cup season.
Kamikamica also represented Fiji earlier this month in the Pacific Test against Papua New Guinea, coming off the bench to finish with 168 metres.
I would think that if we let Jur go, we have given up all hope of finals footy.
Let him go when it's mathematically possible, but before 30 June.I would think that if we let Jur go, we have given up all hope of finals footy.
Fair point, Alvaro goes alright. Why do we need a player in return? according to most on here our season is over so just move someone up from Wenty.
Fair point, Alvaro goes alright.
Just get Ricky to pay full freight for Paulo, and use the cash now to front load an extension (De Gois/Gordon/whoever) or fix a TPA hole.
So if they offer him more now then what he is on, is there cap compensation.
We've lost two blokes who it seems weren't going to be here in 2017 anyway. And one of whom might not be playing much footy for a while after their court case.
I don't believe peats wasn't in BA plans for 2017
