I would let go of Rory O'Brien and sign Sam Moa on $250k or less. For a big unit he offers very little in either go forward or aggression.

Talking of big units, Tepai Moeroa made a stellar 58m last night. What a champion. Big, young, strong, and full of beans and once again delivers, well delivers...NOTHING!!!

Anyway, had a chat to an ex Eel last night...for whatever it's worth;

He's 100% sure Norman will stay, he loves the joint and rates the shit out of BA. Probably not news but nice to know.

Segeyaro is a big chance if we can squeeze him in salary cap wise, he's got a lot of mates at the club and wants to stay in Sydney if he can, and the club is definitely interested.

No one knows what the f**k Jarryd Hayne is doing. Lol

Last time i looked we were sitting in 5th spot and Aloili and Pauli's teams are sitting in 13th and 16th respectively. Maybe these were good calls by the club afterall (even if one of them wasn't our call).

Manu KE and scott are at another level.
Not sure if Tepai offers what gower does. Part of me thought BA instructed Tepai to turn down the aggression in defense.And just relax a little.And learn the basics of the game first in top grade.
But part of me now wonder maybe the Duke let him go as a 16yld for a reason

Like ive said before. Twal is the next good front rower our club will produce. I see plenty i like. Big engine and mobile.A leader and a big heart. Once he is physically ready he will go well. 10yr first grader in the making.

I hope we give Gower another year. Besides Twal I cannot see anything from the lower grades to get excited about.

I think he's doing really well for them, stats stick them up your arse. Doesn't mean he'd be getting a run over anyone in our backrow on the edges. Would still be just a benchy at best.

I don't know, mate- Tepai was a prodigy at schoolboy level (and dominated for the Junior Roos earlier).

Maybe just give him some time- he's still young.
