Papa was after the quick cash & he stuffed up.

I think he realised his mistake pretty early on i recall that whole 2022 season his manager was agitating for him not to go to the Tigers and stay at Parra for less money.

He didnt want to go there and he played like a bloke that didnt want to be there.

Unfortunately for Papa the Tigers had the Bryden's lawyer bloke running the show who was never going to let him renege on a contract. Purely on optics & principle.

I reckon if he had his time again he would stayed for less here to stay alongside Moses and be that damaging hole runner backrower he was the 2 x years he was here.

But anyway you live and you learn.

Ricky has found himself in a another spat this time with Adam Blair haha.

I did laugh at this comment below with a touch of irony

“It was ridiculous. It was a childish comment, it comes from a very inexperienced coach. He’s obviously coaching the way he used to play, very selfishly,” Stuart said.

if there was a book about Ricky Stuarts gripes what would the title be?

I'd call it "27 texters" or what about the life and tribulations of a weak gutted dog?

It's a fair point. One's output in a team game is impacted by the quality of one's team mates. His output objectively declined and I agree his environment was probably a major contributor. But in that case how can he say he has plateaued?
Maybe he’s selling himself short and he actually improved astronomically but his teammates were really really shit so that his stats suffered even further.
Sounds like “plateau” is code for Tigers are shit.

DISGRUNTLED STAR EYES RETURN

Which player switched clubs in 2024 and now realises he made a terrible mistake?

The player - one of the biggest-name signings from last season - isn't happy in his new surroundings and would love nothing better than to return to his old club for 2026.

The former club would take him back in a heartbeat … IF they could find room in the salary cap.

Time will tell.

If they played at their new club in 2024 then it isn't us - we didn't sign anyone new for 2024 that is still with us.

Who do you think he's referring to?

Yeah, it's either him or the two Roosters signings. The big winger from Knights and Spencer from Penrith.

Jack is big favourite considering he signed through to end 27.
It’s not Leniu he wants to be a rooster for life. Dom young or Wighton

Wighton seems the obvious choice though Latrell is his best mate so surprised he isn’t settled in

could be Dom Young but they’ll just chuck him an extra $100k and he’ll change his mind
