Specifoc sides are a myth. Only ordinary players need to play on a specific side

Every player is better on one side than the other. Why do so many top players only ever play one side of the field?

So you would play Manu on the right?

If averaging 113m a game is pretty ordinary I hope he keeps being pretty ordinary tbh

He's spent plenty of time on both sides of the field this season. How about you go and find his stats on the left and his stats on the right and come back to us.

I'd probably play Cordner on the right, but I don't figure it would matter much.

Some players are more comfortable on one side (eg a centre with a big right hand fend) but class players are class regardless of what side of the field they're on.

I'll leave that up to you. After all, you're the one making the claim. Only seems right and proper you're the one to back it up, yes?

Your the one who bought the stats.

I don't need stats to tell me he's been fairly ordinary when he's been on the right side of the field this season compared to his exploits over a long period of time on the left.

Science isn't a court of law. It is the challenger's job to attempt to falsify the theory. You only need to find one black swan but you're asking the other guy to show you every swan and prove they're all white.

TEPAI Moeroa is ready to ignore the big bucks on offer in Japanese rugby to recommit with Parramatta for a further two seasons.

Moeroa has is determined to go all the way in rugby league, including Origin and the Kangaroos, and knows his best chance of that is by playing his best good footy with his good mates at the Eels.

“There was interest in going overseas for rugby, but once I’ve accomplished what I want to do in rugby league, then I’ll maybe look at popping over to rugby,’’ Moeroa said.

“I wanted to stay at Parra, so it’s good to get it all sorted and get it done.’’

Moeroa, now 21, has been earmarked as a representative forward for a couple of seasons, and is relishing the chance to make one of the backrow spots his own.

There was plenty of interest from rival clubs in his signature, with Moeroa’s deal to be announced as early as next week. He returns from suspension against Canberra on Saturday night.
