are we not approaching players or player managers?
are the asking prices out of our range and we not interested in many?
We are painful to deal with in negotiations so deals fall through
We are on a pause in recruiting?
We are getting screwed over by other clubs who are essentially rorting the caps through payments by other avenues which we can’t or won’t do?

would be interested if anyone had an idea of where the issues lie rather than just saying we are useless

We are probably trying to free up top 30 spots to get players now.

Also we have to wait till November for a few better players to be available. Not much quality free next year.

I am hearing both Tino Faásuamaleaui & Dave Fifita have get out clauses in their Titan contracts & are on JR's Rader , also throw some serious coin to Payne Hass to come across from the Broncos

Word has it the Dogs have signed Galvin , do we go from Saxton ? do we go for Reynolds ? or just raid tigertown & go for Luai (as his get out clause in actioned) where's the smoke there is fire

Also from the Storm there is Tyran Wishart as a halves option & Bronson Garlick as a rotational hooker option with young Smith

As for centre again from the Storm young Anderson & Tommy Talau from Manly are a better option than Russell & Penisini

Reynolds and Sexton would not complement Moses at all. Plus Reynolds is old.
Talau is rubbish. I thought Anderson had signed somewhere else already, we need better quality than him anyway.
Garlick might be ok as depth or a bench option. Wishart would likely want too much money for someone who has primarily been a bench player and is untested outside the storm system.
Like others have said, couldn't see Tino coming to us

Haas will never leave south east Qld due to his family situation.

I can’t see Tino leaving the titans - he is that club, and on a 10 year $1m a year deal you can’t really outbid them to sway him.
