Maybe he is the problem.......if we don't win soon everyone will be calling for his head quick smart.

Maybe he is not the problem?

I am not for or against Kaysa he is still effectively a rookie. He is clearly the scapegoat though i am just unsure if he is our problem.

When our forwards rolled on he looked sharp. As any new guy each game they play in first grade they get stronger and stronger. Takes close to 2 full seasons to reach an nrl standard for most players.
Leaving them in nsw cup will not bring them to a higher level. It takes time. Of course some players are strong enough from start to be ready, Kaysa isnt. But by rnd 14 he will start to blossom. Thats when guys should judge him. Not yet. He barely started a first grade game til l this year.

Bazal has stated he is our problem, i haven't seen him criticise anyone else like he has Kaysa. Last i checked it is a team game.

Bazal has his way he build a team, I have mine. Different people like a team to play a differemt way.

No french is great how dare you.
Fmd french cost us the first try and his runs from fullback are garbage. 2 from 5 games made less then 100mtrs. And yesterday 50. Unless your fullback is giving lbas or ta. He cant get away with running for 50mtrs. Sure Bevan has skill but dont bag Kaysa and let Bevan off.
French isn't in the team for his kick returns against a set defensive line. So yes, we do need more from him from a playmaking point of view.

Pou loves stats, except when they don't support his argument then he goes off tangent with other arguments hoping we all forget only for him to regurgitate them at a later date.

31 years without a GF win, and 7 seasons without finals football are stats as well.

They're the most important stats, really. Obviously winning a competition is no mean feat, but 7 years without a finals appearance is unacceptable. Of course, we can't put any of that on BA really. He is doing the right things, for the most part. There was no point throwing stupid money at any of the hookers off contract last season really, like it or not they were either no better than what we already had or they had other issues (namely Farah, the biggest tumour in the game). And he can't really avoid picking Kaysa at the moment, with King and IDG injured. Nelson isn't a hooker so he's stuck. What he does now and over the off season to rectify the situation will be telling.

Yeah we may have cap space and yeah we should improve our top 17, but there is no use wasting it on some just because we can!! I am sure BA is waiting for the right player rather then wasting it on some one that isn't suitable for our squad.

Everyone reckons we should spend how 2017 cap space on a hooker or half but really who has been available in the last 6 months?

Segeyaro, McInnes, Rein, Farah, Parcell and Hastings to name a few have all changed clubs in the last six months.

Bevan needs to be more involved. One or two flashes each game isnt enough.
Also he wastes semi. Ffs when hitting it up dont throw to Semi.Maybe hoffman or take tackle self. That way Semi one charge for the start of the set is used effectively and not wasted when defense is already infront of him.
Does it all the time!!!

No it bloody isn't. Josh Hodgson made "plenty" of runs (almost 8 per game). Kaysa made more runs than this year, but he didn't make plenty. He probably made the acceptable minimum.

Can you atleast give him till rnd 12?
Gutherson has 5 games and no ta or lbas this season, And was ordinary first 5 games last year.
What is simmilar between both guys? They are confident. If he isnt improved by rnd 12 then happy to bag him.

I'd take Segs, but over the off season he was contracted to Leeds, he has behavioural issues, and the Sharks look to have contacted him whilst under contract so I can understand why he wasn't on the radar. McInnes is in good form but he's a plodder IMO, Rein is awful, Farah is an expensive cancer, Hastings is a twat and more of a half. Parcell would have been nice but he was under contract as well so obviously he or his management didn't approach Parra.

I don't like our options, but realistically there wasn't a whole lot of exciting options outside the club either.

He hasn't shown anything to indicate he will improve, but he is also the only option at the moment. This isn't about dropping Kaysa immediately, it's about needing to plan for a replacement.

Over 80 games in about 4 seasons doesn't scream back up does it????
Centres contracted to Parramatta:
2011: Reddy, Walker, Whatuira, Morgan, Loko
2012: Tonga, Loko, Tonga, Blair, Morgan
2013: Tonga, Loko, Morgan, Blair, Toutai, Wiliame, Pewhairangi
2014: Tonga, Hopoate, Morgan, Toutai
2015: Hopoate, Champion, Takairangi, Morgan, Toutai, Folau

The closest Morgan got to our top 17 was 2013 and 2014.

Maybe they are but they don't really point to a scapegoat do they? And that's obviously what you need to get through your day.

Lol. Pointing out that a player isn't good enough does not a scapegoat make, however much you want to believe everyone but you is wrong or unfairly placing blame whilst the mighty Pou is the only man who can see the truth of it all. As a starting hooker, Pritchard has not been good enough in a crucial position. Simple as that really.

Hooker is an unbelievably important position in the modern game, and I think Parramatta need to realise that ASAP if we're to capitalise on the improvements we've made since Sticky left.

Yes it will mate, hope he has some rabbits under his hat. Still early in the season and we can still definitely make the finals, but i think the side can do with some tinkering.

No it bloody isn't.
It is. Over 60 runs is a fair sample size for getting an look at what a player can do. It might not be as many runs as you would like but it is obviously enough for what the coach wants from a dummy half.

Last year Peats averaged 0.09 runs per minute. De Gois averaged only 0.05 and Kritchard a whopping 0.24, roughly the same as the other middle forwards.
