Yep he does tend to run straight at the defender rather than the the outside in line hitting the inside shoulder

If he does run straight at a defender it's when there's no gap anyway and he wants to fatigue the left side half. He would surely know that when you've got the defender isolated you don't run straight at him.

Yeh, you've still got to have the right footwork at the line. If you just make a beeline for the gap b/w defenders from the get go, the defense just slides. What you do in the last half second makes the big difference. A Johns was the best I've seen at it.

He is the reigning Dally M mentalist, despite his age, so he will surely still be a first grader for a couple of years. He would be perfect at the right price, and even at overs would still offer something we desperately need. He has no history of injury or personal issues either.
