I don't think he'd have patched up our weaknesses either. He's a good player, who can play about 12 positions, but he's not a dominant front rower.

What people don't get is that our problem can't be narrowed down to any of the players that have appeared for us this year. Apart from Robson they are all first graders. The problem is that we lack some quality, but blaming individual players is stupid. Any of our players is good enough to play in a winning team if they have the right team mates. Look at Michael Gordon - people blamed him just as much last year yet he is playing well at fullback in a strong squad like the Roosters.

We all know we need a stronger squad, but looking for scapegoats is the childish way of going about it.

Again the salary cap is not fair and never will be. There needs to be more teams in Brisbane.

It also not our job to evaluate the ability of potential recruits. We have a coaching staff worth hundreds of thousands of dollars who are meant to be doing that.

Adding an NRL quality half will make a massive difference to this team. The extra kicking option alone will change everything.

I don't disagree that it will make a difference. It will take us from competing with the bottom 4 to challenging to make the Top 8 with some luck, but I don't think it will make us a Top 4 team.

But one minute you say all we need is a half to make us a Top 4 team and then the next minute you think we need a completelely stronger squad...you cant have it both ways. We either need a stronger squad or we just need one player and that will automatically makes us a stronger squad.
