A half will make us a top eight team. From there we can make the top four (probably too late this year).

We don't need an entirely new squad, but more quality players are always helpful. They will come in handy next year.
Pou, if the forwards keep playing like they did yesterday an extra half will not help. Say we get Moses we still need other changes. Firstly a decent dh is a must, secondly a change of personnel, Taka has reached his use by date at centre, and thirdly for next year a couple of good BIG forwards will do wonders for the team. I don't think Evens is the answer there but hoping to be proven wrong. Maybe even a change of coach, yes I'm getting desperate, or a complete revamp of the way they play!

Moses has 2 weeks to backflip?
I thought it was 10 days not 14. And that he had signed last tuesday meaning 4 left?

Or have we not yet signrd him?

Either way i dont see moses back flipping. If teddy and woods sign they wont have the cash and if they dont he will want out.

Parra is or will be the power house and city to play for.

Will have the best stadium and training facilities in the NRL.

You cant stop the fact the location itself is becoming the second sydney and that will bring $$ tpas

Of course I consider the quality of the opposition. We actually have some very good players, but they are all under the pump due to our having only half a kicking game. Prior to this year we've always had two genuine kickers, except when Joe Paulo played in the halves.

I also see form as far less important than quality. After round two merkins thought we would win the comp. Now we're struggling to avoid the wooden spoon. You dopes need some perspective.

I never thought we'd win the comp after two games.

I think you over estimate the quality of some players at Parra and under estimate the quality of players at other clubs.

A second half isn't going to stop us getting massacred around the play the ball in defence from the opening whistle.

Kaysa made 51 and missed 3 tackles.

One of our issues when lost last season was Props not making 100mtrs+
And this seasons its happening again. We do not have a prop who makes his 120mtrs every week. And that isn't even what id call a top prop. The very good front rowers would call 120mtr a bad or off game. 150mtrs would be more what they aim for.
And some will pull around 200+ like fafita-Gallen-Vaughn-Toumalolo-Graheme

CAP PROGRESS

A few weeks back the NRL proposed an $8.3 million base salary cap for 2018.

It was met with disappointment.

Private Ryan understands the final figure for the salary cap will likely be $9.1 million in 2018.

While it’s an improvement on the current offer, it’ll leave several clubs in trouble with a host of teams banking on the cap to sit somewhere between $9.5-10 million.

This means they’ll be forced to shed players.

So what your saying is sit back and relax a big name might just fall into our lap.
I bet one of those who were banking on it being around $10mil were the Dragons.

There are days where Roosters winger Daniel Tupou spends more time sitting in traffic than he does on the training pitch.

Commuting from Auburn, the 25-year-old is a solid 55-minute drive from Roosters headquarters in Moore Park.

Having been with the tri colours since 2012, he’s made the trip for six years now but still he won’t complain about the drive.

“I’m still out west in Auburn with the family,” Tupou told Private Ryan.

“I’m not sick of the drive yet. I’m a massive fan of music so that gets me through the day and the traffic.

“Sometimes I don’t get home for an hour and a half. It gets bad on Parramatta Road. But I’m not sick of it yet.”

that alone should convince him to take unders...and we have an opening.

Another half will help normie control a game, get decent kicks away, take advantage of field position and possession, get repeat sets and create opportunities out wide (like Foran did for warriors). This will have an effect on possession and the like and tire out the opposition forwards (like we did last year).

It's just basic rl knowledge.
Thanks for the RL lesson Pou, but we were back peddling from the first whistle yesterday before we even got to a kick. Will a half improve our line speed??? Our lack of fitness or desire in the grind????

He will improve our attack and abysmal 5th tackle options but he's hardly that silver bullet Pou and some overs think he'll be.

Why is Alvaro in red?

Poor BA -
2015 ruined by Haynes late walk out
2016 - ruined by salary cap
2017 - ruined by Foran walking after we let players go

I want to blame the coach but what a shit blow of luck. And atleast he is putting his job online for future of club by not signing guys who wont help long term.
