The only time player managers should be getting calls is prank calls and bomb threats.

On player managers they had David Riolo on 360 last night and they are trying to clean up the management game..

Mentioned not being able to sign kids up until they are 16? Currently its 15 which is crazy but said clubs also shouldn't be able to sign them up at 15...

The chairman needs to do his job. Worst defensive start to a season in our history and 6th worst since 1908 is a cultural problem. And the head needs to be severed first.

Partly that is down to allowing a schedule where we played Storm in Melbourne round one and the other top 4 teams in the 4 rounds. Now we are in a more winnable part of the schedule but we are depleted on the field - beat up from playing those teams.
It is also a season of bad defense for the whole NRL.
I am not sure who our defensive coach is but yes he is not doing a good job as we are bad in all grades defensively.

Maybe I'm in the minority but the weekend didn't surprise me whatsoever.

I think we have been pretty poor all season and have been very lucky against the Broncos and Saints. Last week we managed to get to Golden Point only after a Tiger was binned for something very unfortunate but innocuous. Realistically from 15 minutes in Tigers dominated the game.

I've followed this club for long enough to know when a capitulation is brewing and the Tits game had it written all over it. Parra coming off sketchy form but a performance where we probably thought we were unlucky not to win (we weren't the better team won) up against a lower ranked team we probably thought we would roll, Titans with small attacking players on a dry track, more injuries, combinations.

It had trainwreck written all over it.

Can't do much with the injuries but over to you Mr Ryles to pull us out of it. He managed to last year will be even a bigger achievement if can do it this time around.

I think most saw this loss coming. How many in the team list thread actually said we were going to win.

As the reasons you stated i think we all knew the heartbreak from Monday would flow onto the following week because we just aint mentally strong enough side to just dust it off.

It was 52 points that shocked many that were back to one of the main laughing stocks again.

What does JWH actually add to the coverage.

Tigers are 6 wins from 12 backing up from Easter Monday and never played finals since they started the annual game in 2014.

So its not as bad a problem for them.

Probably one of there better periods of the season.

Dont worry a lot of people i know and relatives who have been watching RL for 30-50+ years have no idea what the game is about anymore with the 6 again and other shit.

They have completely cooked it this year.

I agree it is very frustrating, many times I see players delaying the play the ball and no 6 again and the next tackle is quick and the referee signals 6 again. It seems that he realises he should have signaled after the first tackle and then decides to make up for it.

Riccio reckons today the club's phone is running hot and wouldnt surprise him if we nab someone before 4pm we are that desperate atm and are pushing for anything.

What a disgrace it takes a 50 point flogging at home to the Titans to get the R&R team into action so desperate to cover there own arse.
