I've been told that there could be a genuine issue with The email that was sent to all the clubs last week regarding the cap limit , some clubs seemed to have over spent their budget and could be in a real spot of bother... I'd be surprised if the dogs or roosters announce those 3 players soon..especially the dogs who may need to shed some serious talent, I actually think the NRL could be deadly serious about this..

Oh you can forget about Tupou was told that he will be at the roosters next year..100%

If the cap isnt at least $9.5 million I'd suggest the club will revolt.

Yeah I think we made a good move by striking early to beat the run on halves in snaring Moses but now patience will win the day. The Knights and Tigers will likely be scrambling to sign up any competent first graders as they rebuild. We can let the pressure mount up on the big spending clubs and work them over if Stagger's mail is good (and it usually is).

A good strategy, unless the NRL caves and ups the cap to a point which satisfies the big spending clubs.

Yep, that is the straight up counter-point. The call for patience only holds up if the NRL has the cojones to stand up to the clubs that preemptively spent in the vicinity of $10,000,000 before the salary cap was finalised.

Yeah there's a real theory that the NRL will do just that despite their advice not to spend over 9.1 ... the issue with the bulldogs is how will they able to announce Foran and woods right away?? .. I'm predicting that we won't be getting an official PR from the dogs for a little while yet but I could be wrong.

The problem now is that the clubs correctly assessing the final cap are at an advantage over the other clubs. What this means is that if the NRL caves it will disadvantage all the clubs (assuming there are any) who believed the cap would be what the NRL said it would be. This would at least include those clubs administered by the NRL.

I'm not saying they have signed him. I'm saying he is on the outer at Newcastle and is on similar money to Moses at the Tigers. It makes sense and they need a goal kicker too.

Ah, OK. Johns said when Newcastle signed him they didn't get a medical done. And basically his knee is shot. Was an article this week about his stuffed knee too.
