I agree you need to be quick over 40 but a winger needs to be able to finish that off. Ball in hand does not cut it when you have a 5m head start and the other player needs to turn around to chase.

I love the athletic profile and unique aerial skillset of Daniel Tupou but I have also seen Roosters fans complain about complacency and a lack of motivation outside of contract years.

Could be a great pickup but there is an element of buyer beware.

I personally don't think we need to. Bev will be back soon so that means Guth will move back into the halves. And while I agree that Gutho is killing it at fullback I also thought he was doing just as well in the halves. Plus we're getting Moses next year anyway so we don't need to get rid of any players to get him.

Plus we're getting Moses next year anyway so we don't need to get rid of any players to get him.

All that's true, but I think someone like Tanginoa would probably walk into their top 17, so would Gower, who are both off contract anyway and only going to be used sparingly at most

Agreed, we need to be very careful about which backs we sign for next year, given we now have Moses on his way for 2018. We already might be unable to retain Auva'a - where would we play him in our full strength side?
