No one wants to buy slater, just talking about his worth.
Agree French / Gutherson is the future
I wouldn't touch him, to many injuries.

I think that is what Pou is saying. Pou isn't suggesting Parra sign him. He is suggesting that Slater might not be on the massive amount people assume. He is getting on, slowing down and is injury prone. Not to mention they have a very capable young fullback in Munster.
Slater is busted, wouldn't touch him with a 40 foot pole.

$300k tops. You reckon he will take it? Not much better than Michael Gordon, far more injury prone and he can't kick goals. How's that logic?
Exactly. "But but he's played 200 games, won a premiership and represented Queensland and Australia!" is irrelevant if no club will pay what he wants. It's all about demand. If Slater doesn't like it he will retire.
Still a better player than Gordon, but I agree he's more injury prone and doesn't kick goals. I would actually take Slater for $300k if we needed a fullback (though we don't), but a club with a young squad that needed some experience and leadership as well as a fullback could probably offer him more.
I don't think I could bring myself to cheer for Slater if he were theoretically an Eel.
and chris walker
slater would be worth 350k to us
but should be at least valued under the cap as 750k by nrl
I reckon he'll retire anyway, he looked very comfortable helping out the qld team
Thoroughbreds will make up the difference. Nothing sus there.courier fail saying that gillet is rejecting 200k additional money to stay with donkeys. nothing sus there
My knee or Elbow.what would you touch him with?
