Agree 100%. That's all he is worth. I'd now take Lichaa from the Dogs for about $250K. He is a solid defender and not injury prone. Kaysa needs the competition

No, I mean that when you are thinking of paying $500k plus for a player, you have to consider how many games he's likely to be available for selection. If you have, for example, 2 players of equal quality, and 1 is a Kiwi and the other eligible for SofO, the Kiwi gives you better value. Peats played 10 games for us in his first year, and has missed at least 6 games in every other season. It's all relevant to what he's worth to a club.

I reckon clubs would prefer a Kiwi or English international over an Origin player of equal ability, purely for availability reasons. I'm sure 'Origin-class' players who are ineligible for Origin earn a premium over their Origin playing counterparts.

I don't know Pou I suspect he could be on that now on one of Hasler's back ended deals. Seeing that he needs to re-establish himself I reckon $300K is the absolute limit I'd pay. I keep reading Rein is on $300K at the Panthers and he was in a similar situation to what Lichaa is in now. I just think Lichaa would complement Kaysa more or give us a viable alternative as Rein for mine is a similar type of player to Kaysa only more expensive.
