Sure, I agree, hence wording it that way, however your response conflates the first part of my post with the second part of my post, which are two separate ideas. Obviously a contract must abide by the rules to be registered, but if I'm in that space and know which way the wind blows, I want some personal assurances in place outside of that for it to actually have any real value to me.

Now it's on me if I take you at your word there, but it's on you if you break it.
Bandwagon conflates is spelt corn flakes!

Did you hear the one about Gutho to hooker ?

Oh dear. I have consulted my crystal ball and Gutho's good looks are in jeopardy going to hooker.

I don't want to get overly unicorn, because the last time I did that I decided to take my mates to the Roosters game...

But.

I am starting to think with Vave and Mannah back, Kaysa playing at his best, Jennings and Norman back, that we have the potential to cause some damage in the finals.

I think you're getting way ahead of yourself.
We have to actually make the Finals first before we can do any sort of damage in them, and at the moment we are only just teetering on the edge of the 8.

Haha, you're probably right.

On a side note, I know its only the Lurker who is a drip but he is reporting that despite denials Klemmer has been unhappy at the Dogs for a while and openly telling team mates. He hates playing Lock and Des wants him to play there is apparently a reason. He said the Tigers are an option but no way I reckon he'd go there.

Would we have the money for big Klem? Geez, I'd like to see him at the Eels.

Klemmer/Evans would be a pretty dynamic starting front row.

Klemmer will be staying at the dogs - end of story.

Have a go at the headline. Then the quote from the article. "There's a couple of things me and the club are working through, we're just trying to put those in place and fix all those and get everything on track," said Klemmer, one of two Bulldogs backing up from Origin alongside Josh Jackson. "It was a bit frustrating but we're working together. I love the club, I don't want to leave here and obviously we're working in place to get everything all sorted''. Some journos just don't know when to stop.

Serious question though - the article says that the Bulldogs will pay out Riolo's share of Klemmers contract, effctively meaning Klemmer can potentially make a profit depending on his new management deal. Granted, it's small, but it's another loophole in the salary cap if it's not included.

well in terms of Journo language _ Klemmer asking for a release is a bit sexier than Klemmer sorting out a dispute on a payment with a former manager...
it's seriously a rubbish story without an ounce of truth to him asking for a release....just like the the car park story between Nolan and Norman...it simply didnt happen.
