So similar to the hayne, "too big for his knees" situation .... too tall for his somethingAt his height, it would be a mighty effort to continually pick the ball up off the ground.

Guth to dummy half is stupidity plus, the scariest thing is quite a few actually agreed with him.
U must admit twizzle, it's one of the most obsurd thing you've heard.
yeah, but nothing surprises me
have you ever visited the NRL forum here on LU ?
I thought Will Smith had a massive game covering dummy half for us. Why change, let Guth play to his strengths.Guth to dummy half is stupidity plus, the scariest thing is quite a few actually agreed with him.
Klemmer spotted having Yum cha with Bernie last week in Tinga palace over a bottle of rice wine.

Bernie orders his wine by the bottle, and just asks for a straw.
It doesn't matter what Klemmer thinks....the club are clearly saying that we cannot act as guarantors on those deals. It might be (i.e. 'is') a stupid system, but I don't see this is evidence (at any level) that the Dogs are being treated differently to anyone else. I't's just stupid that the NRL seem to allow 'introductions', and don't seem to care that these are mentioned in letters of offer, memos of understanding etc. As you said, we had apparent cases of players being pissed off that 'promised' TPAs fell through and the club couldn't and didn't pay up on them. We didn't get done for that.
The point is, what has led him (and others) to think that way? If TPA's are being used as an inducement to sign, and yes I understand that is against the rules, then he would be entitled to think the club has a bit of responsibility in this space.
Sure, they can't guarantee it, but they could "guarantee" it.
Is that not the accepted protocol...?
Not if there are 2 of you 'dining'. A gentleman would ask for 2 straws.
