Anybody who saw him play in the QLD cup knew after 1 minute he was going to be a complete dud, i called it the day we signed him, the bloke has absolutely nothing on the park.
QLD cup is seriously overrated too.

Yeah I remembered that... was that After you were telling us that Norman was shit?

I am not ashamed to admit i had high hopes for the Fog.

Too bad it didn't work out but i guess there are always risks when dealing with individual people.

Penrith have 4 backrowers coming through at same age.
Yeo,JFH, Chn, cartwright.
12mths ago id pick cartwright at top of list. Now its Yeo followed by CHN.

Young players form can change really fast.

Our backrow stocks are full. We have Stone coming through and probably only lose Gower. Niakuroe may also be a chance 2018.
Only saw Stone play once but struck me as a very good player for the future. Looks a big body with high workrate and one to keep an eye out for.

Tetevano is a piece of shit.

And footy sides get thrashed. Deal with it
Well Bazal crap reply as usual, I'm glad you're happy with the team being thrashed but I'm not. If you're looking for an argument try your wife (if have one) first or some drunk in the pub!

If the NRL are serious about a level playing field, they should force the clubs to release sufficient talent to make them cap compliant, cover the contracts of those that are released and negotiate with clubs within the cap to take them off their hands.

Yes it's a costly exercise but the NRL have brought this upon themselves with not having a clear cap for 2018 and beyond.
So if you exceed the cap your made to shed players EXCEPT for the favoured clubs that do what they want and get the NRL to sign off on it. Its a weak argument that those players won't find a club as all will without losing any pay. Those overspending club's players will be partly paid by their original club plus their new club but might not be playing with their club of choice. Will at least spread the talent more evenly.

Didn't something like this happen with Roosters the year they won premiership? They had already signed Maloney and Jennings (plus others). Weren't they already on cap and then sign $BW on top and somehow NRL allowed it?

If the Fog has left the building, I'm hoping that the No.7 curse got him only and that leaves Moses free from the dementors.

Maybe @El Diablo might need a ciggie and a lie down after this?

ARLC Chairman will not seek reappointment

Australian Rugby League Chairman John Grant today announced he will not stand for reappointment as a Commissioner at the end of his current term in February 2018.

Mr Grant was appointed as the inaugural Chairman of the Commission in February 2012 and will have completed his second term when he steps down.

"For some weeks I have deliberated on the changing face of the Commission post constitutional reform should that occur this year and the need for a succession plan for the role of Chairman," Mr Grant said.

"All well run organisations need time to properly plan for the future and my decision, at this time, assists this.

"In the months between now and February there is a lot to be done and I look forward to continuing to lead the game as Chairman and applying all my energy to dealing with the many opportunities and challenges that are before us."

I'm not looking for an argument. I'm not Pou, thankfully. And it's not crap simply because it goes against your opinion.

But you and all fans have to accept that sometimes footy sides get belted. It's a fact. Even the top teams get thrashed. Sometimes it even happens 40-0 in a grand final whilst cheating the cap....

And also Tetevano is a shit human who shouldn't be allowed to play NRL footy.

Geez the Storm must be even worse then, they got belted in a grand final one time while cheating.

Teams get thrashed occasionally, no matter how good they are. How hard is that to understand? We don't like it, but anyone with a clue accepts it as part of footy. Or any sport really.

Stone is not a "big body". He's about the same size as Nathan Brown, so below average. Luckily he makes up for it with his workrate, defence and attitude.

He's gone under the radar a bit as far as his return to NRL goes. Certainly not the same attention as Packer, Kirisome etc. And I don't want to start any debates here but it begs a few questions about Carney's continued exile.

Well on the subject, Carney shot himself in the foot a bit with his sacking from Catalans for the same old shit (ALLEGEDLY TWIZZ!!!).

I played a bit of footy against Carney as a kid. He's not a bad bloke at all, he was actually a really quiet kid for the most part. He's just really, really dumb and very easily misled.

EDIT-FWIW I'm still a bit uneasy about supporting Arrrrvarrararrarararararrarararararara as well. And Packer should be in prison.

See that's the thing. The dumb ones seem to get punished far worse* than the real criminals sometimes. That's life though I suppose. A bit like your team getting thrashed occasionally.

*in footy terms. I'm not suggesting prison isn't punishment

I think the dumb ones eventually wash out of their own accord as much as anything, tbh. They just never learn. Does any club actually want Carney? And will they pay him anything like ESL clubs will? Probably not, because odds on he's going to do something really stupid eventually. Whereas I guess at least for thugs like Packer prison is usually a wake up call. And he got off lightly for what he did.

All Blacks have never been thrashed.
