Cheers. If he cant force his way in knights team its sad.

I reckon he'd be a handy pick up. Cheap project with size. Last year was going well.
I agree. Pauli ruled in under 20s when his mind was on the job. He may have matured ànd be worth a minimal investment given his size and past potential. I think BA only released him as a result of Cap pressure and the Knights strong interest. I recall BA seeking him out and having a chat after a 9s game a couple of years ago when he played for The Knights V Parra. BA has also shown a willingness to reinvest in Parra juniors eg Tanginoa and Davis. The up side could be great. Nothing to lose.

Here are my bold predictions for 2017
  • the final 8 is already set in concrete
  • 28 points won't get you there this year, will be at least 30 I reckon
  • Parra will finish up on 32 or 34 points. Even if 34, which was top 4 cutoff last year, they won't make top 4 because of their poor F&A
  • Dogs will battle to win another match (yes I know not much of a prediction)

So they were probably cheating before because they had heap of stars and they're probably cheating now because they've had to sign a bunch of players? So just say you think there are bunch of cheats. It has nothing to do with who they've actually got in squad
This is starting to get boring now, you have an alternative theory but have not said why.

As Parra were given cap dispensation for a new injury to Watmough, Manly were hoping for the same with Matai and Stewart and bought players accordingly. They were denied as were existing injuries. They also continued buying players close to season start including Perrett from Dogs and Hastings, both who are probably costing them $200k each with old clubs paying difference. I mention $200k as no good clubs releasing players for less as they come out of top 25 while the next lowest player comes in at min $85k.

As I said DCE on $1m plus 2 turbo, Walker, Green and Taupau each on $400k (this is a low figure imo) making $3.0m with Matai and Stewart at $1.5 with cap of $7.5 so $3.0m left over for 17 players or $176k each. See how hard it is to fit everybody under cap and why my suspicions are raised.

Mannah taken off yet again for concussion on Saturday, how many times has he failed HIA this season?
This seems about 1 HIA each match now. For his and Parra's sake he needs to retire asap, same with IDG. Club should force them to take medical retirements, otherwise club is in breach of player welfare surely.

Given this is the 1st time you have explained your theory over the course of this week long discussion, yes it definitely is getting boring. Granted you may have explained it in your original post, but seeing how that was a month ago now I probably forgot

We will finish on 38 points!

I think the Dragons are a chance to slip out of the 8.
28 will be enough Penrith only other team that could jump in but they will drop a few games

They also seem pretty reasonable (i.e not bold).

I actually thought your boldest was the one that you thought was the least bold.

How ordinary was Tepia Moeroa again against a very weak Melbourne storm. What a useless palooka.

I would love to trade him for someone like Shaun Lane from Manly. Now there is a player with size, ball skills and work rate that I would love our coach to put the effort in to make him a consistent star player. Lane has so much more potential then our talentless lump Moeroa.

Boy do I hope that these Manly salary cap rumours are true and they will need to offload a player or two. I would jump at him in an instant. Or better yet we should offer a straight swap of both players. Two birds one stone.

Yeah must be a gun. Has played 17 FG games in 3 seasons. Managed to play 1 FG game all year with NZ and just 2 this year for Manly.

A word to the wise. Don't put yourself on ignore. I did and I couldn't speak for days.
