How ordinary was Tepia Moeroa again against a very weak Melbourne storm. What a useless palooka.
I would love to trade him for someone like Shaun Lane from Manly. Now there is a player with size, ball skills and work rate that I would love our coach to put the effort in to make him a consistent star player. Lane has so much more potential then our talentless lump Moeroa.
Boy do I hope that these Manly salary cap rumours are true and they will need to offload a player or two. I would jump at him in an instant. Or better yet we should offer a straight swap of both players. Two birds one stone.

How many forwards were starring in the NRL at age 21?
No but starring is what you seem to be expecting from him. He is not even 22 and already a genuine first grader in a finals bound team. He is playing long minutes, surpassed only by Ma'u and Brown in our pack. He's also doing more than either player at the same age - in the year he turned 22 Nathan Brown only played seven games, and averaged 27 minutes, 52 metres and 15 tackles. Moeroa has already played 64 NRL games (14 already in 2017) and is averaging 64 minutes, 89 metres and 29 tackles. He is not an attacking player, he is a defensive workhorse in the middle who also defends safely on the edges. His versatility is what makes him so important to our team. And being so young he has a lot of improvement in front of him.Starring is hardly what I would call it thus far.
Unless Tepai can shift his average run metres to 150+ per game, with 3 LB's per game and 70-80 post contact metres per game, he is going to be nothing in the eyes of the Ram. Get used to it guys.
I don't really know why people get so fired up over Rammy and his obsession with Tepai.
The bloke thought Anthony Watts was a future superstar. That's all the evidence you need regarding his talent spotting abilities.
THE Auckland Nines will be scrapped next year with the pre-season competition axed from the NRL’s crowded scheduling.
The World Cup final is not played until December 2, meaning a host of players would be unavailable for the tournament — which is usually played at the end of January — once they have their entitled break.
It is understood the NRL has plans to revitalise the concept once it takes control of it from 2019. Perth and Brisbane loom as potential hosts.
It is understood the NRL are open to the idea of inviting English Super League teams and potentially international teams to take part in a hope to renew interest in the concept.
The temporary scrubbing of the Nines and All-Stars game means only pre-season trials and the World Club Series will be held before the kick-off to season proper next year.

That's all well and good but in how many games this year has Moeroa run for 100 metres? When somebody finally answers that I'll stop bagging the merkin! So true. Even then he won't be happy.
Rammy is a deadset halfwit and far too stubborn to admit he was wrong.
Shaun Lane is 2 years older than Moeroa, but still a fringe first grader in a team whose biggest weakness is his position of preference.
Further, Lane has had exactly 3 (three) games in his entire career where he has run for more than 100m. Three.
He has also made more than 25 tackles just 4 (four) times. Four.
Moeroa averages 29 tackles this year (TWENTY NINE). That follows his 30 (THIRTY) per game last season (28 his rookie year). This year alone Moeroa has run for 100m in more games than Lane has in his entire career (4 - four - games this year Moeroa has made 100m, and he averages a very healthy 86).
If we were to offer Manly a swap of Moeroa for Lane, they would take it, laugh at us, and everyone on the forums (except Rammy) would be blowing up deluxe that we swapped a very solid, young, first grader for an older fringe first grader who has played 1 good game in 3 years.
One of your best Rammy, how much are tickets for the comedy show??
I agree majority of the time on Moeroa, his far from where I expected him to be currently. His always been talked about being great but he just rarely does it consistently, his one I wouldn't lose sleep over if we lost him.How ordinary was Tepia Moeroa again against a very weak Melbourne storm. really wished we got NAS.
Yea, good point whoever comes from the Storm to us would probably play like a reserve grader tbh, but his a big body would have served us well.NAS is only good because referee Smith blinds the actual referees from him being offside constantly and laying in the ruck all the time. If he played for Parra he'd be giving away 3-4 penalties a game, guaranteed.
