The UK is for merkins too good to be backups but not good enough for an NRL top 17. I believe we're trying to retain Dargan as our backup but we would obviously need another one as well. Maybe Luke Kelly will come back after masterminding Souths to a 40 point win against us tonight?
We're not talking about your fantasies Pou.

Hypothetical here but Penrith merkin Cleary in on track to be highest points scorer. If Gunco stayed fit I reckon he would have beaten him by 20 points.

Not if the merkin's going to leave anyway. Then again, he is contracted through 2021, so he's not exactly 'leaving anyway'.
No, that's right. If he leaves then they need to get the best available player. I think it's a beat up though. Apparently a looming finals series is not exciting enough for the SMH.

If Parra play the way they did last nite against the Storm it could get very ugly. The forwards were steam rolled by a very weakened Souths pack and inexperienced team.

And what are we going to do with Auva'a, a nightmare in defence. 2 tries scored against him and lucky there wasn't a 3rd when he came in, propped and fell over and the ball sailed into touch behind 2 unmarked Souths players.

The Storm will run at him all nite based on his performance. Maybe get him to play centre in defence and move Moses to wing. It appears as if Moses has 2 bodyguards, Auva'a and Mennings, and both come in to help leaving a 2 and sometimes 3 man overlap. BA needs to fix this asap!

Jamming in defence is how we play, especially on the right. Then other defenders slide behind the shooting outside backs. Jennings and Auva'a had their timing off last night, for whatever reason.

But Moses already spends plenty of time defending on the wing, with Auva'a at centre and Jennings three in.

Taka seemed to spend a bit of time on the wing last night. What's that about?

I'm not sure if you didn't watch the game or are just so stuck on the "our forwards are shit" train of thought that you refuse to see anything else....
